<?php
$link = mysqli_connect("localhost","your db user name", "your db password","your database") or die('could not connect to database');

Now we will create heart of this application. so paste following code in app.js

PATH = 'search.php';

var app = angular.module("myApp",[]);
   //live search controller for welcome view and welcome controller
    app.controller('SearchController', function($scope, $http){
    $scope.url = 'search.php'; // the get request page
    $scope.search = function (){
        //create the http post request
        //the data holds the search key
        //the request is a json request
        $http.post($scope.url,
        {"data":$scope.keybords}
                ).success(function (data, status){
                    $scope.status = status;
                    $scope.data = data;
                    $scope.result = data;
                }).error(function (data, status){
                    $scope.data = data || "Request Failed";
                    $scope.status = status;
                });
    };
});

STEP 5.

In step 5, paste the following code in search.php

<?php require_once './db_connect.php'; $data = file_get_contents("php://input"); $objData = json_decode($data); $key = $objData->data; if(!empty($key)){ $sql = "SELECT * from live_search where title LIKE '%$key%' "; $result = mysqli_query($link, $sql) or die(mysqli_error($link)); $output = array(); while ($row = mysqli_fetch_array($result)) { $output[] = $row; } echo json_encode($output); } ?>

Finally run your code by typing your url localhost/your app folder. And enjoy the live search code. The main advantage of using angular js in this application is because it is very fast and instant.
